Easy bean bag toss tutorial

We made a bean bag toss game for Paige's birthday party and all of the kids had a blast playing. These can be sewn by hand or with a machine.
To get started cut an even number of 3"-5" squares out of fabric. (we made these for a football theme party)

Placing right sides together stitch 3 sides of the square leaving one end open to fill the bag. Trim corners just outside of your stitching to ensure it will turn smoothly.

Turn right side out and fill 1/2 to 3/4 of the way with dry beans or rice. We filled 10 bean bags with one package of beans!

Great time to get the little helpers involved. Piper was my helper for the day. Toys are more fun when they get to help make them!

Once filled, turn the raw edge inward and stitch shut and you are done!

The finished product will give them hours of enjoyment and it was time spent together.

Come back and let me know if you made these!
