Hearthsong review and giveaway ends 1/16

I am always looking for something fun for the girls to do indoors since we are now in the full swing of winter and they get sick very easily. I was given a great oppurtunity by Hearthsong to review a few fun items. I picked items for Piper since we had more stuff for Paige so far for Christmas and it was getting close. Check out what we got:

Pandabo is a fun little game that teaches kids balancing and develops motor skills. Piper decided last minute to ask Santa for a panda game so I really lucked out that this came in the mail the next day! As I have mentioned before she is obsessed with Panda bears. You should have heard her scream when she opened it. She sat for over an hour today playing it by herself. She was so focused it was very cute.

 This is the Starry Sky knot-a-quilt something I knew would be a hit! She has carried around a blanket since she was about a year old. It's name is "Ginket" since early on she had trouble with the word blanket. It stays in her room now and she sleeps with it as her cover but she is getting too tall for it. I saw this kit and thought of her since she has recently learned how to tie things and everything in my house has been tied to something else. She said she can't wait to make her new blanket and she wants to give Ginket to a baby. I think it's sweet that she wants to hand it down. We sat down today and put 4 squares of it together to get started. The squares are very soft and I know she will get a long time to enjoy this quilt since the finished size is so large.

My girls both love puzzles so this was a no-brainer. This is the Hearthsong Puzzle maker. Very easy to use and the stamper does not come in contact with little fingers at all. You slide the puzzle to be under the stamper and press down the lever and it cuts out your puzzle piece and stores it underneath in a compartment. We used one of our christmas photos and the girls made a puzzle for our neighbors. She thought it was very neat!
