Better Oats 1 month supply Giveaway 10 Winners! ends 2/6

January is National Oatmeal Month.Did you know that more oatmeal is consumed in January than in any other month? It can lower your cholesterol and may reduce the risk of heart disease.
I will be completely honest and say that I have never really eaten it much. The last time I had it was probably when I was pregnant with Paige. It was the kids kind too ha ha. When I received a few boxes of oatmeal in the mail from Better Oats I decided to give it a try. 
One thing I like is the pantry friendly box, it is tall and thinner so it takes up less room. Another thing I like is that you don't need a measuring cup because the pouch has the measurements for you. After you open it and pour the oatmeal into the bowl, you fill it to the top line with water, pour into the bowl, nuke it for 90 seconds and and ta-da you are good to go! 
This one is my favorite because it tastes good and it is only 100 calories. I have a major problem that I forget to eat, I feed the kids and then I don't eat until dinner time. This wreaks havoc on my body and even though I eat once a day I lose NO weight. I am making it a point to eat something in the morning now. 
Hubby's favorite is the Maple Syrup flavored one (for kids), He likes that it is not overpowering, it is sweet but not overdone. There are so many different Better Oats brands and Flavors to choose from! Here one I want to try:

    I'm normally a Maple and Brown Sugar gal, but the Raisins and Spice sounds really good too! My DS would prolly really like the apples and cinniminon though.

    These sound great...I had a hard time choosing just one flavor, and I would probably pick the cinnamon roll because of the 100 calories, but decided that the cinnamon plum spice was something different that I'd probably have to choose.
