I love "fun food"! So when I saw Roundabouts I knew I had to try them! They are sleeves you wrap around cupcakes to total transform the look of them!
I received the "Little Burger" sleeves and had a lot of fun with them!
Step 1) Bake 1 dozen vanilla cupcakes.
Step 2) Mix food coloring with vanilla frosting to make it look "bun colored"
Step 3) Apply icing and chill 10 min, then smooth icing
Step 4) Wrap with Roundabout sleeves and top with sesame seeds (I used sprinkles)
They came out great! They were a little time consuming but worth it!
A note from the creator of Roundabouts:
"Using toppings easily found at a grocery or local party supply store, our decorative self-adhesive cupcake wrappers instantly transform cupcakes into popcorn tubs, gumball machine, sushi, and ice cream cones. Our wraps are resistant to grease an oily substance, are earth friendly, and wipe clean if things get a bit messy in the kitchen! We’ve even had customers wash and re-use them, adhering a second time with a dab of frosting.
We have 70+ Designs/Themes to choose from. We personalize, customize and have not only been featured on Rachel Ray Magazine, we are proud winners of the Most Innovative Exhibitor Award at the 2010 July CA Gift Show in Los Angeles."
Roundabouts has offered 1 of my readers a pack of sleeves of their choice! So you can make some and get that "WOW!"

My daughter, who is 15 by the away, still asks me to being cupcakes to school every year for her birthday. I would love to do something like this for her. Something different and very cool. I make ugly food, it tastes good but is ugly. Lol. I think if I got the Sushi ones I could make them look halfway decent.
